What do I need to test the OI beta?

An Android phone and a vehicle you actually load. This round is Android only; the native iOS app follows it. Folding phones are especially welcome.

What happens to my data during the beta?

Nothing you enter is shared with other testers unless you set an item visible. The backend is self-hosted in the EU. Deletion is by email during the beta and the in-app button arrives with the first public build.

Be one of the first rigs on it.

OI needs testers before it needs users. Leave an address and you get one email when there is a build worth installing.

What do you drive? (optional)

Useful for one reason only: the load check needs a mix of real rigs to be worth testing.

The load check compares a group's packed lists. One person testing it learns nothing — two or three who share trips learn a lot.

Rough edges, and somewhere to report them.

Push notifications and SOS are still being built, so you will meet the gaps. The status page stays current, and what you report shapes what gets fixed first.
