This round is Android; the native iOS app follows, and an iPhone still gets you on the list for it. Folding phones especially welcome — the layouts for them are upcoming, and testers on one are how they end up right.
Ideally, people you travel with.
The load check compares a group's packed lists. One person testing it learns nothing — two or three who share trips learn a lot.
Rough edges, and somewhere to report them.
Push notifications and SOS are upcoming, so you will meet the edges. The status page stays current, and what you report shapes what gets built first.
Your data is your data.
Nothing you enter is shared with other testers unless you set it visible. The backend is self-hosted in the EU. Read the privacy note before signing up, not after.
What the email will say
One message, when there is something to install.
Not a newsletter. No progress updates, no launch countdown, nothing else to follow. When there is a build for you and a way to install it, that is the email — with what to expect from it and where to send feedback.
